An awesome day out with heaps of opportunities to learn and explore a this Certified Organic farm on the Mid North Coast of NSW.
Oxhill Organics is a family farm that produces Certified Organic pasture ranged eggs, Organic Milk, Organic Beef and Organic Compost.
We will hear from Chris and Ann about their regenerative farm business and how the integration of the principles of crop rotation, time control grazing and application of inputs has seen them succeed as a sustainable business that create healthy soils and a diversity of organic products.
Chris will share his experience and talk to the value of diversity as an important part of their sustainability – from the microbiology in our soil, to the diversity of pastures and crops, to the enterprises they run.
In partnership with Young Farmer Business Program we will be focussing on successful business strategy and enterprise opportunities for small scale farms in the region.
Oxhill Organics have a great story to tell of their success and challenges as small farm operations and this event will provide a a great platform to discuss and explore of a range of the features of these enterprise.
Join us for a day of farm walks and talks while we continue to develop a community of support, build our regional network and local industry engagement
