Wow what an epic year it has been already !
A massive welcome to the 163 new members that have joined Young Farmers Connect this year and a huge thank you for all your support. We have been deeply engaged across Australia’s local food system delivering a heap of programs, projects, workshops, research, advocacy and networking. Across NSW alone our amazing coordinators have delivered 9 events catering for over 300 participants including 6 field days and 3 Holistic Management training courses.
We are also proud to have recently co-designed and added our signature to a group statement of young farmers organisations from the G20 nations to be presented to ministers and officials at the G20 and UN Food Systems Summit…..Read on >>>>>

It was so heartening seeing the cross generational representation at the conference - from the original gang who took on those early concepts Savory, Parsons, McCosker and the likes put on the table way back when, still as passionate & energised as the new guard coming through in the regen farming space, such as YFC. Their willingness to lead, to be open, & share their deep knowledge of land & experience in a world that people like Stephen Jenkinsen identifies as ‘lacking elderhood’. I think that’s pretty cool; it feels good to know we’re supported as young ‘regenerative’ farmers - it helps to ease that heavy, sometimes overwhelming load we carry on our shoulders
