SOFT Agriculture Pty Ltd (Sustainable Organic Farming Techniques) offers a range of certified organic products that improve animal and soil health and productivity.

- Organic Compost, Stock Feed, Fertiliser
SOFT Agriculture is affiliated with primary production company Mara Seeds Pty Ltd whose core business is organic grass seed, oilseed and cereal grain production.
OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB
As a Sales Representative, you will oversee sales activities and develop relationships with customers. You will be responsible for building and maintaining client relationships, overseeing the sales process and acting as a point of contact. You will have an in-depth knowledge of business products and value propositions.
You will develop growth strategies and plans as well as manage relationships with key stakeholders to increase the company client base. This is a key role within the management team and you will play an integral role in developing and implementing the sales program for the business.
The role involves travel to facilitate business development meetings with prospective customers and maintain existing relationships.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Managing customer accounts for long-term success
Establishing a good rapport with customers
Developing new sales opportunities and responding to customer queries
Tracking account targets and monitoring sales
Developing growth strategies and plans
Arranging business development meetings with prospective customers
Traveling to visit potential and existing customers to conduct business development meetings
Handling incoming calls and communications maintaining the company CRM
Keeping accurate records pertaining to inventory and account notes
Resolving complaints and preventing additional issues by improving processes
Acting as a client advocate with a focus on improving the overall customer experience
Processing vehicles on the weighbridge and organise freight
Identify new market and product opportunities and engage with key business personnel and external consultants to bring the opportunity to fruition
As a member of the management team participate in management, team and site meetings
Ensure adherence to WHS policies and procedures
Participate in field events and field days and other events as required or identified that present an opportunity to promote the business and our products
Extensive engagement with rural merchandise retailers to develop relationships and channel to market opportunities
