Regenerative share farming opportunity - Tarcutta NSW [April 29]

Organic farm (1).png

“We are looking for someone in the Regen or permaculture community to layer an enterprise or more onto our farm. Our land, your business. We are on around 6-thousand acres running cattle in Holistic Management principles.

Close to the house and sheds we have an area that would lend itself to other food businesses with a well fenced and watered market garden, 4.5 hectares or Shiraz grapes that could be integrated with livestock, a small developing orchard and truly stunning vistas across the Murrumbidgee and local valley.

There is an established market garden with fencing, water infrastructure with access to rain rainwater capacity and back up potential from the river with two water licences available. The market garden soil has been amended with composted green waste.

Applying the ethos that we need more people on our farms in order to build our rural communities, we are hoping someone might explore this idea with us - to share our land, grow beautiful food, nurture our biodiversity and enhance the local community.

Open to discussion on various land-share agreements to include at least shared costs on infrastructure maintenance Considerations for profit share / produce share. Hoping to find the right person(s) to create a joint context that aligns on values and to develop a more rigorous and sustainable agreement with.

We have modest accomodation that could be coupled with a caretaker role with more housing options at Gundagai-35 mind, Tarcutta 20 mins and Wagga 50 minutes.

There is a one bedroom flat attached to one of our sheds which is newly carpeted painted etc. which could provide a temporary accomodation measure pending more suitable long term arrangement.
