Seeking sharefarming land for an agroforestry fruit orchard

I am looking to establish a fruit orchard using Indigenous forest farming methods. I have a primary focus on custard apples, intending to plant about 10 acres. I am currently working in the industry, which has a strong and improving market and is a very suitable crop for this region. There is a local marketing group which sells through wholesale agents in Sydney and Melbourne. I am also investigating a certified organic market. 1-2 other high value options are being explored to complement to winter harvest season of the custard apples.

I have been training and working for the past few years at various agroforestry farms in Australia and Brazil and have several years of orchard experience and currently working in the custard apple industry.

I am in the process of developing a business plan for a custard apple orchard using agroforestry methods and simultaneously doing market research and a a feasibility study for a 2nd crop.

Regenerative share farming opportunity - Tarcutta NSW [April 29]

Regenerative Agriculture land-share / share-farming opportunity on 6-thousand acres currently running cattle with Holistic Management principles.

“Close to the house and sheds we have an area that would lend itself to other food businesses with a well fenced established market garden with water infrastructure and access to rain rainwater capacity and back up potential from the river with two water licences available, 4.5 hectares or Shiraz grapes that could be integrated with livestock, a small developing orchard and truly stunning vistas across the Murrumbidgee and local valley.”

Modest accomodation that could be coupled with a caretaker role. There is a one bedroom flat attached to one of our sheds which is newly carpeted painted etc. which could provide a temporary accomodation measure pending more suitable long term arrangement.

Applying the ethos that we need more people on our farms in order to build our rural communities, we are hoping someone might explore this idea with us - to share our land, grow beautiful food, nurture our biodiversity and enhance the local community.
